John Hollyer

John Hollyer is a principal and global head of Vanguard Fixed Income Group, which managed more than $1.3 trillion in assets, as of October 31, 2017. He is responsible for the group’s portfolio management, strategy, credit research, trading, and planning functions. Mr. Hollyer joined the company in 1989 and previously served as head of the Risk Management Group, which focuses on global investment and operational risk issues for Vanguard Investment Management Group. He also served as portfolio manager for a number of Vanguard’s bond and money market funds. Mr. Hollyer, who has nearly 30 years of investment management experience, is a CFA® charterholder and has a B.S. in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
