Brian Alling is head of data analytics and reporting in Vanguard Strategic Retirement Consulting. Before his current role, Mr. Alling was a senior manager in Vanguard Participant Strategy and Development. He founded the Participant Intelligence team in 2008 as a group that would empower plan sponsors and Institutional Investor Group leaders to make data-driven decisions leading to better participant outcomes. The group consults with our plan sponsors on campaign results, digital use and trends, and overall participant behaviors within plans.Mr. Alling joined Vanguard in 2004 and previously held marketing positions supporting Retail with high-net-worth programs and business development efforts. He earned a B.S. in marketing from Saint Joseph’s University.
