Andy Clarke

Andy Clarke is a principal and senior investment strategist with Vanguard Investment Strategy Group. He is responsible for research on portfolio construction and global market trends. Since joining Vanguard in 1997, Mr. Clarke has served as assistant to Jack Bogle and also has held various leadership roles in marketing and communications. Previously, he served as an investment analyst at Morningstar. He is the author of "Wealth of Experience" (Wiley 2003), an introduction to investing, based on ordinary people's insights about what has—and hasn't—worked, as they've tried to meet their financial goals.  Mr. Clarke earned a B.A. from Haverford College and an M.S. from West Chester University. He also is a CFA® charterholder.
