Having worked with our clients for over 30 years, I’ve become all too familiar with the competing daily responsibilities a plan sponsor must juggle. If you were introduced to My Plan Manager earlier this year, you’ve been toggling between the Plan Sponsor Bridge® and My Plan Manager as content is gradually updated and transferred over to the new site. You’ll soon notice less switching back and forth, as we retire more components from the Bridge. Our transition to My Plan Manager is a testament to Vanguard’s commitment to keep up with the latest advances in technology.
A number of factors have gone into the design and building of My Plan Manager, but the common denominator has always been what’s best for the client. Considering our diverse client base, our plan sponsor site must be compatible with users of all market sizes and segments. We pored through much preliminary research to pinpoint areas in need of improvement, including aesthetics, plan analytics, and usability.
But the research didn’t end there. We carefully selected a small pool of clients to try out the new site-in-progress for several pilot releases. Their input has been invaluable, and they deserve warm thanks for helping us prepare for our first public rollout.
We continue with gradual releases because it allows us to continue to shape and adjust capabilities to align with the specific needs of each of our clients. Each page of the site links to an Opinion Lab, where clients are encouraged to provide feedback. It’s been a helpful way to address challenges and gauge satisfaction. And when I read words like “powerful,” “robust,” and “smart and sexy,” it reinforces my belief that we’re on the right track.
